Salem County Arts in Bloom 2013Salem County, New Jersey - (May 18-19, 2013) Save the Date for the annual Arts in Bloom Open Studio Tour, Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19, 2013 from 10am to 5pm both days. This FREE two-day event spans over 30+ locations throughout Salem County, NJ and features over 60 local artists, including pottery demonstrations, leatherworking, stained glass, puppetry, fine art, fiber arts, woodworking, photography and much more and is displayed in stunning and intimate settings including local greenhouses, gardens, coffee shops and local area wineries.
Several studios on the tour are hosting fun, hands-on activities for the entire family to enjoy as they "Dig Into Art." Summertime Home-Garden & Craftsmen FestSalem County Fairgrounds, Woodstown, New Jersey - (June 29-30, 2013) From doors, windows, ceilings and floors to landscaping displays, kitchenware, solar panels and more; whether you want to fix it, build it, or renovate, the Summertime Home-Garden & Craftsmen Fest has it all. This two-day event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 29-30, 2013 from 10am to 5pm at the Salem County Fairgrounds, located in the rolling farm land of Woodstown New Jersey. The home show will offered area residents the chance to shop for anything having to do with homes, gardens, landscaping, travel, investments, security, new trucks, fencing and lawn equipment. Xtreme Motor Sports of Airville, PA will be showcasing the Instigator Monster Truck and Thrill Ride at the Festival! New owner/driver Paul Breaud will be on hand for photos and autographs.
The Summertime Fest will feature artists and craftsmen, a Corn-on-the-Cob eating contest, wine sampling, festival food, BBQ platters, picnic style dining, free craft making, kids crafts, dog parade, flowers and plant sale, give-a-ways and free shopping bags. Sunday's events include the Little Miss & Mister Summertime Pageant for girls & boys ages 4-7 years old. The Summertime Home-Garden & Craftsmen Fest is open to the general public and admission is FREE. Parking is only $3.00 a carload. Consumers are ask to bring a pet food donation for the animal shelters in need of supplies. The Summertime Fest will be held rain or shine.
