This month, we spotlighted our featured businesses in our Business & Finance section. It is our advertising sponsors who are supporting our efforts to provide you with a free monthly online magazine for your reading pleasure. We hope that you will support them in turn by participating in our shop local campaign and help us keep our small businesses in Salem County! Due to the popularity of The Women of Salem County, we decided to expand to both Gloucester and Cumberland Counties. In July, we introduced Owner/Editor Esther Lankitus from our newest 'sister magazine', The Women of Cumberland County, as she launched her inaugural issue, and Owner/Editor June Swords Bower, already a pro with her 3rd issue of The Women of Gloucester County.

In June, we asked our readers to nominate a special man in their life to be honored for Father's Day. We received several great letters and we posted them all to our Facebook page, and we featured the two that we felt really stood out: "My Hero and the man my kids call Dad" and "My Husband Is My Hero".
In May, we held our 1st Annual Charity Singles' Mixer & Bachelor Auction at Auburn Road Vineyards on May 2nd, 2010, where we raised a total of $3,835.00 for Salem County Women's Services and The April Pettit Memorial Foundation!
