PRESCHOOL DANCE 3-4 YEAR OLD
Provides exposure to ballet, tap and creative movement.

DANCE COMBO 5-6 / 7-8 YEAR OLD
Covers various skills in tap, jazz, and ballet.

ACROBATICS (TUMBLING) 5 +
This class is for the student wanting to learn various skills in tumbling from basic to advanced.

BALLET
Students will learn the technique and discipline they will need for other forms of dance. 

POINTE
Instructor’s choice. 

TAP
Students will learn techniques that will enhance their level of dance.

JAZZ
Students will learn various warm-ups, stretches, turns, leaps, and discipline that will enhance their dance skills.

HIP HOP
This is a high powered fun class that has old school, new school and street dancing.

MUSICAL THEATER
This class involves singing, acting, dancing from various musicals.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons are available to the student who wants one on one with the instructor. This class is used for extra help in their dance and also for competitions. 

MODERN DANCE
A style of theatrical dance that favors movement deriving from the expression of inner feeling.

HAPPY FEET (SPECIAL NEEDS CLASS)
This class is open to all students with a special need.

The Academy is dedicated to enriching the lives of all students who attend the studio. Our mission is to provide children with the highest quality of instruction. Lori Cagle
Lori Cagle, Owner/Director

Lori Cagle is the owner/director of the Academy of Performing Arts. A graduate of the Stuart Business School has been teaching dance for over 27 years and has performed in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York City. She has studied with some highly trained instructors: Jeff Shade, the late LaVaughn Robinson, Steve Sirico, Mark Santoro,  David Scala, Sammy Reyes, Derrick Mitchell, Avi Miller & Ofer Ben. She has also studied at University of Arts, Philadelphia, PA, and continues to study at Koresh Dance School, Philadelphia, PA, and Broadway Dance Center, New York.

Lori is also a Certified Dance Instructor through Dance Educators of America. Through this organization, she has studied in New York City and also in Las Vegas. She is certified to teach all levels of: Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, and Acrobatics. She has been working extensively in the field of Hip Hop with Samuel Reyes, to be fully trained to teach in this field. 

Lori’s students have been involved in various events such as Septemberfest Parade, Alloway Halloween Parade, Magic of Salem Christmas Parade, Mickey’s Hometown Parade, Miss America Parade, Beachfest Parade and Boscov’s Parade. Her students have performed at Great Adventure, Hershey Park, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, 76er’s games, Halftime at Flyers Playoff Game, and have been the entertainment for Royal Caribbean Cruises. Her students have also competed at Regional’s and Nationals and have won various titles.

Lori's goal is to give all students all opportunities in the dance world.
