Salem County Women's Shelter Salem County Women's Services offers help for women who are suffering from domestic violence. Services include an emergency shelter, individual counseling, support groups, legal referrals and court preparation, parent skills training, educational materials, networking/information and referral, and an Alternatives to Violence Group for batterers.
April Pettit Memorial Foundation The April Pettit Memorial Foundation is named in honor of April Pettit, who died at the age of 22 in 2007. She was born with Ring Chromosome 13, a rare genetic disorder, and was not expected to live past the age of 1 or 2. She could never walk or talk, but she touched many lives in the Woodstown area. The Foundation named in her honor has raised money for Marlton Park and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Bio: This well-spoken go-getter grew up in Pilesgrove on a 400-acre family-owned farm. He is ambitious and hard-working with clear goals. He hopes someday to own his own business, until he sells it for millions and retires on a private island. (He estimates he has a year or two before he has to get serious about which island.) Jeremie went to Woodstown High School and Gettysburg College. For fun, he likes finding cool places in Phila for happy hour, as well as snowboarding and scuba diving. His musical tastes are anything with a good beat, from rock to hip hop, and he also likes listening to Preston and Steve on WMMR. For hanging out, Jeremie thinks you can’t beat a backyard barbecue in nice weather with horseshoes and cold beer. He’s a big fan of LOST and not sure what he’ll do with his time when the final season ends and he no longer has to spend hours wondering “What does it MEAN!?” Jeremie’s favorite food is pizza and he believes, as someone once said, that “Pizza is like sex. Even when it's bad, it's still good.” But he’s also a fan of Colonel Sanders, and believes “that guy had a good idea and stuck with it.” Jeremie doesn’t currently have pets, but has been considering starting a farm of mini-pigs. For his dream vacation, he’d like to see Egypt, South Africa, and Thailand, but admits he’d probably end up just lazing it up on the beaches like he always does on vacation. But still, he contends, it would be cooler if it was on a different continent. Obviously this bachelor has a lot to offer the right girl. He definitely has a sense of humor and a lot of interests. Who wouldn’t want to spend an evening with Jeremie?
