As lovingly described by her daughter Amber, Debbie Pettit is "a committed mother, a motivator, a hard-worker, a leader, my inspiration and a great role model for not only her children but also for everyone that is touched by her in life". Here is Amber’s Mother’s Day tribute to her Mom....

"Words can’t even begin to describe what an amazing person my mother is and what an inspiration she is to my family and to everyone else who knows her. She is not the kind of women to put herself first; she is always doing for others. She is a caregiver and a provider. I believe that she was brought here to inspire people and to motivate people to be the best that they are capable of being. She has been such a dedicated mother and made her children and family her life."

"My mom received a special angel on March 13, 1984, her first daughter April. April was a special needs child, requiring around the clock care by my parents. April was the apple of my mother’s eye and gave everyone who knew her a special gift that cannot be given by just anyone. The gift was to appreciate the little things in life and to teach people how to love unconditionally. My mom and dad are two very special people and they were lucky enough to have taken care of what is now our very own personal angel in heaven."

"My mother gave us unconditional love and support throughout our lives. She has always pushed us to be the best and to make the best of every situation. One of my mother’s favorite things to say is “Think Positive”. After April died, my mom started The April Pettit Memorial Foundation to honor her and to raise money for Marlton Park and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where April spent the last 5 months of her life."

"My mom is a hard worker; she has put a lot of hard work into making her business Lady Fitness Health Spa ’the best’ and it actually is the best women’s gym in Salem County. When she is not at the gym being a motivator and helping others achieve their fitness goals, she is at home and very dedicated to her family. Everyday my mother inspires me to appreciate life as it comes and to strive to be a great person. I am proud to say that she is my mother, and I love her with all of my heart."
