Sexy, Sculpted Arms for the Holidays!

Tis’ the season for dawning sleeveless, sexy, holiday dresses! Don’t get caught with your arms a flabby mess! I have a few simple exercise to do to tone those arms up!

Tricep Kickbacks

Hold a dumbbell in each hand and stand with your feet hip-width apart with a slight bend to your knees. 

Bend over at the waist so that your torso is slightly parallel with the floor. Bend both elbows so that your upper arms are locked at your sides parallel to the floor, weights are vertical.

Now, straighten your arms behind you until the end of the dumbbell is pointing down toward the floor with your palms facing inwards.

Hold for a beat and inhale, slowly lower your arms back to the starting position as you exhale and repeat 2 to 3 sets of 8. To do this properly, remember to keep your abs tight and your back flat.

Tricep Dips (You will need a kitchen chair for this or a coffee table.)

Sit on the edge of the chair or table placing your hands behind you.

Scoot your rear end off of the chair or table. Your feet are hip distance apart and legs extended out a bit. The further your feet are away from you the harder this exercise will be. 

Bend at the elbows lowering your body towards the floor than straighten the arms and lift the body back up. Do 2 to 3 sets of 8.

To do this properly do not lock the elbows when you lift your body back up, keep a little bend in them.
