Beth E. Timberman Re-Elected

Beth TimbermanMs. Beth Timberman was re-elected for a 3rd term earlier this month and is serving as Deputy Director of the Freeholder Board this year, her 6th year as a Chosen Freeholder in Salem County. Timberman, 48, of Woodstown, has run on a platform centered on her efforts to improve the county-owned short line railroad, implement the county tourism campaign and preserve farmland. She is the current Chair of the Planning, Agriculture and Transportation Committee.

Ms. Timberman was a member of the Class of 2008 County Leadership Institute at NYU. She is President of the South Jersey Freeholders Association and represents Salem County on the Board of the New Jersey Association of Counties. She is Secretary of the South Jersey Economic Development Council, Vice Chair of the Salem Health & Wellness Foundation Board, and is a Member of AAUW’s Salem County Branch. She is also a liaison to the SJTPO, Tourism Advisory Council, Cultural & Heritage Commission, Commission on Women and a Trustee of Elmer Methodist Church, where she teaches Sunday School and is involved with the Cherub Choir. She is also Democrat District #1 Committee Woman in Woodstown.

Ms. Timberman works for Woodstown Family Practice as a Registered Nurse bringing twenty-six years of experience to the post. She obtained her BS in Nursing from Trenton State College with a School Nurse Certificate from Rowan University.

Beth is a great role model both in her professional career, as a community leader and a mother. Ms. Timberman and her daughter Natalie live in Salem County.
