Tired of all the ice and snow? Start making plans for what you would like to see and do within the next six to eight weeks.

The month of March brings us several favorite spring events starting with the annual Philadelphia Flower Show, February 28th thru March 7, 2010 at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Here you will experience the beauty of the 6 gardens of the world that are being showcased with this year’s theme, “Passport to the World.” The gardens being showcased are: Brazil, New Zealand, Holland, Singapore, India and South Africa.

Another spring favorite is the annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC where you will see the beauty of nature at its best. The 2010 festival dates are March 27 thru April 11, 2010.

Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA is another favorite attraction to visit where you will be able to immerse yourself in a dazzling world of orchids. This Orchid Extravaganza is appearing now thru March 31, 2010.

If you are ready for a weekend getaway, try the Historic Garden Week in Virginia. 2010 marks the 77th anniversary season of “America’s Largest Open House". The 2010 dates are April 17-April 25.
