Pink Lotus Yoga has locations at 20 North Main Street in Woodstown, NJ and 1242 Kings Highway, Swedesboro, NJ (opening in October 2011). Colleen Verton and Lisa Caunitus are both Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance. The goal of Pink Lotus Yoga is to help find contentment and to encourage everyone to recognize the beauty and grace all around.
We walk through life, often too busy to look at the simple beauties of nature, often thinking of what we have to do next and forgetting to enjoy the present moment. However, Yoga allows us to spend time with ourselves; listening to our bodies, working with our bodies and following our breath.
Through Yoga we are able to:
- Relax our body and mind.
- Restore the way our body functions on a daily basis by promoting strength and flexibility.
- Revitalize strength and balance.

Pink Lotus Yoga was started in 2008 by Colleen Verton as an intimate studio in the heart of historic Woodstown. With an expanding community, Colleen Verton, along with Lisa Caunitis, now have another location in the heart of historic Swedesboro, opening in October, 2011. Our clientele varies in age and experience. We cater to both male and female clients.
Our goal is to bring fresh perspective to each class. Classes incorporate breath awareness, amazing physical exercise, discussion and awareness of the traditions of Yoga and relaxation.
We combine various styles of Yoga from Vinyasa Flow to Iyengar to Anusara to traditional Tibetan. You never know what you are going to experience on the mat!
The staff at Pink Lotus Yoga is highly qualified and able to lead a Yoga practice geared toward individual needs as well as the participants as a whole. Each instructor has 200 plus hours of certification.
"I once saw a t-shirt that read, 'I'm just here for the savasana.' It had a stick figure lying splayed out flat. I wasn't sure what the meaning was...until yoga; especially Colleen Verton and Pink Lotus Yoga. I've discovered that Savasana is a relaxation pose where, after completing your physical practice, you continue to clear your mind, body and spirit. You surrender to the pose of complete relaxation. After practicing yoga for nearly two years, six months of which with Pink Lotus, my body, mind, and spirit are completely connected. Not only do I feel rejuvenated mentally, but physically as well.
To conclude, I am definitely in it for the Savasana, but for the Downward Dog as well. Colleen, I'm definitely content :)"
