Breakfast and brunch offers a selection of omelets served with fresh fruit or house home fries, pancakes w/ chocolate chips, banana & pecan or fresh strawberries in season, or Belgian waffles and stuffed French Toast.  Lunch is always a delight with a choice of home-made hearty soups (try it in a bread bowl), gourmet salads, grilled Panini of the day served with veggie chips, home-made chicken, egg, tuna or shrimp salad sandwiches on fresh baked bread, or a hand-formed all beef burger served on grilled Texas toast.

Dianna's Homemade Vegetable Soup

2 to 3 pounds of beef cubes
3 large onions
Brown above in ¼ cup oil, stirring often
Add 16 cups water

Add any of the following:
3 cups cut carrots
4 large stalks celery
8 crushed tomatoes or 2 large cans
3 cups fresh green beans cleaned with end off
2 cans sweet yellow corn with juice
1 small bag or 3 cups lima beans, fresh
1 small bag okra or 2 cups, fresh
1 head cabbage, chopped into soup sized bites
¼ cup red cooking wine
1 Tbsp basil
1 Tbsp oregano
2 large bay leaves
½ tsp salt & pepper
2 Tbsp white sugar

Bring all to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 6 hours. Serve with Hot French Bread!
