In the past 20 months since we launched our first issue of The Women of Salem County, SalemCountyWoman.com has had over 26,500 visits and over 93,000 page views. Our site remains a very popular destination among Salem County women. Our Facebook fan page reaches over 1,250 fans on a regular basis and is the perfect forum for us to announce your open houses, coupons and specials! We are promoting it through a variety of traditional, online and "grassroots" marketing efforts. For over a year, we advertised on a 12'x24' billboard on Rt. 40, reaching tens of thousands of commuters; our website is extremely well search engine optimized and is being found for hundreds of keyword searches. We have banners and links from many highly trafficked websites around the county; we promote our site and our advertisers on our social media sites, Facebook and Twitter; we have had numerous press releases published promoting our charitable events; we were featured in a 1/2 page layout in a newsletter mailed to 4,000 residents in our county; we send e-newsletters to our subscribers; our writers are promoting the site in their own newsletters and email blasts; and we are always coming up with new ideas to promote the site!
We believe in heavily promoting our advertisers! We announce all of our new advertisers on Facebook to our fans. We will happily announce your "wine and cheese" open house events or your charitable efforts. We encourage you to contribute articles to our site as this will position you as an expert in your field.
